Originally released in 2012, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD is a full-HD remastered version of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop.
Whether it’s a worthy conclusion to the Dark Seeker arc will be in the eyes of the beholder, but playthrough-wise, Kingdom Hearts 3 is a great addition to any PC collection. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is a compilation that brings the popular Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system platform remastered in high definition. Its story marks the beginning of the main plot of the saga (the non-extended edition was the first video game). Sora, Riku, and Kairi live happily in the Fate Islands, playing and fantasizing about the existence of other worlds. One night a strange storm breaks out, and Sora witnesses his friend Riku being swallowed up by darkness, and Kairi disappears into his arms as strange and black creatures, Heartless, begin to emerge from everywhere. Darkness engulfs the island and when Sora wakes up, he finds himself in a place he’s never seen before and sets out on a search for his friends. At the same time, at Disney Castle, Donald discovers that King Mickey has disappeared leaving a letter behind him, giving orders to him and Goofy to find “the Key”. Unbeknownst to any of the three, their paths would soon cross. Kingdom Hearts 3 is a great port that will delight both new and dedicated fans of the series. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix will cost 74.95 while Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind is priced at 89.95 each. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is an extended edition and expanded in content, levels, elements, characters and scenes of the original Kingdom Hearts game . Its release occurred only in Japan, so thanks to the compilation title its exclusive content will be available for the first time in Europe and North America. While it’s pretty cheap to get Kingdom Hearts games on consoles these days (it’s about 20-30 on average), it’s going to cost a pretty penny for the PC ports.
